What you will do:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of adults' needs and risks, ensuring alignment with safeguarding protocols and legislation.
- Develop and implement personalised care plans that empower individuals, tailor-made to promote safety and desired outcomes.
- Collaborate with professionals across healthcare, legal, and community sectors to coordinate effective support services.
- Advocate for vulnerable adults, ensuring their voices influence decision-making processes.
- Maintain meticulous records per departmental policies while ensuring data protection.
- Engage in case conferences, reviews, and multidisciplinary meetings to discuss and address safeguarding concerns.
- Provide guidance and support to individuals and their families, fostering a nurturing and empathetic environment.
- Stay updated on legislation, best practices, and trends in social work for an enhanced service delivery.
Qualifications:
- Hold a recognised social work qualification such as a Degree in Social Work or equivalent.
- Registration with Social Work England is mandatory.
- A minimum of one year's post-qualification experience in adult social work or safeguarding is required.
