Are you ready for an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in mental health care? We are looking for a Psychiatric Liaison Nurse to join our team in Yeovil, UK for a period of 3 months. This rewarding locum position offers a competitive hourly rate of £26.28 for days, £33.00 for nights and Saturdays, and £42.00 for Sundays. As a crucial member of the team, you will work full time with 3 to 4 shifts of 12 hours each per week, including nights and weekends, in our 24/7 service.

What you will do:
- Respond to referrals from emergency departments and inpatient wards, conducting comprehensive mental health assessments.
- Collaborate with medical and nursing staff in general hospital settings to devise personalised care plans for patients experiencing psychiatric crises.
- Provide specialist advice and support for managing mental health conditions, including assessments, care planning, and crisis intervention.
- Facilitate smooth transitions for patients from hospital settings to appropriate community or mental health services.
- Deliver training and support to hospital staff, ensuring they are well-equipped to manage patients with mental health needs.
