The salary for this permanent Programme Manager job is £650 per day.

Main Duties:
- Conduct a comprehensive review of the Adult Social Care Charging Policy: Evaluate the charging arrangements set by the Council within the framework of the Care Act 2014, focusing on both residential and non-residential services.
- Examine current charging practices: Investigate which services are chargeable, how the Care Act 2014 is applied and interpreted regarding charging, and assess the services for which fees are levied, including the methods for establishing rates, such as full cost recovery and benchmarking against other local authorities.
- Evaluate Disability Related Expenditure: Analyse how Disability Related Expenditure is currently handled, compare practices with other local authorities, and determine if alternative approaches could be beneficial for Cambridgeshire County Council.
- Consider the impact of the cost-of-living crisis: Explore and present all available support options offered by the County Council, District Council, national bodies, and third-sector organisations to assist individuals during the cost-of-living crisis.
- Develop a comprehensive report with clear recommendations: Provide the Local Authority with actionable recommendations on how to apply the charging policy more effectively, considering fairness, potential support for individuals, and opportunities to enhance income generation for the Council. The report should include cost estimates for any proposed support measures and evaluate the equitability of the recommendations.
