Requirements of the Principal Commissioning Officer:
- Social work qualification with registration with Social Work England.
- Experience in managing social work caseloads and supervising others.
- Knowledge of children’s health and social care systems, agencies, and relevant legislation.
- Ability to understand, analyse and present a child's situation and lived experience within the conference setting.
- A proven ability to communicate with children and young people.
- Ability to work collaboratively with parents and children. Ability to collaboratively with a wide range of professionals.
- Ability and willingness to work as part of a team and support colleagues and receiving support from them.
- An ability to fulfil all spoken aspects of the role with confidence using the English language as required by part 7 of the immigration act 2016.
