Sanctuary Personnel are seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary School Teacher to join our vibrant school community. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing, engaging, and supportive learning environment where young students can grow academically, socially, and emotionally. As a Primary School Teacher, you will plan and implement lessons that meet curriculum guidelines, foster a love of learning, and develop essential skills in students aged 5 to 11.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the national or school curriculum.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and creativity.
  • Assess, record, and report on students' progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve.
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of individual students, including those with diverse learning abilities.
  • Manage classroom behavior effectively to maintain a safe and respectful learning space.
  • Encourage the social and emotional development of students through positive reinforcement, group activities, and conflict resolution strategies.
  • Collaborate with other teachers, support staff, and school leadership to create a cohesive and effective learning environment.
  • Communicate with parents and guardians to discuss students’ progress, strengths, and areas for improvement.
  • Attend staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school events as required.
  • Uphold and promote the school’s values, mission, and code of conduct.

Requirements of the Primary School Teacher:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related field
  • Valid teaching certification or license in primary education.
  • Proven experience as a Primary School Teacher or in a similar teaching role is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of child development and educational best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire young learners.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Patience, creativity, and a passion for teaching
