As a Locum Podiatrist within the Diabetic Foot Ulcer Service, you will work alongside a Diabetic Foot Ulcer Service Lead, Consultant Podiatrist for Diabetes, and Diabetic Foot Podiatry Technician, Band 4. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality specialised care to patients, both inpatient and outpatient, with diabetic foot illnesses.

What you will do:

- Deliver expert face-to-face consultations, assessments, and treatments to patients with diabetic foot ulcerations, infections, and Charcot foot problems.
- Work autonomously in the Vascular and Diabetes outpatients unit, alongside other specialists.
- Actively participate in the development and delivery of a high-quality Diabetic Foot Ulcer service.
- Collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary Diabetes Team to enhance patient outcomes.
- Ensure accurate documentation and adhere to the highest clinical standards in podiatry.

Requirements:

- HCPC registration is essential.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in podiatry.
- A car driver is preferable to ensure ease of travel between patient consultations and sites.
