Sanctuary Personnel are seeking a dedicated and passionate Physics Teacher to join our school’s science department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in physics and a commitment to fostering a love for science in students. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and informative lessons that promote critical thinking, problem-solving, and a deeper understanding of physics concepts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality physics lessons to students in accordance with the curriculum.
  • Develop engaging and interactive teaching methods to encourage student participation and interest.
  • Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
  • Prepare students for examinations and guide them in practical laboratory work.
  • Ensure all health and safety standards are followed during laboratory activities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and improve the physics curriculum.
  • Provide academic support to students through regular office hours or tutoring sessions.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, school events, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Physics or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Teaching certification or licensure in Physics (depending on regional requirements).
  • Strong knowledge of physics concepts and practical applications
  • Previous teaching experience in a high school or similar educational setting preferred.Excellent communication and organizational skills.
