Sanctuary Personnel are seeking an ODP to join our client's Theatre at a prestigious London hospital, currently rated "Outstanding" by the CQC.

The campus boasts 10 Operating theatres, catering to a wide range of specialties including Cardiac, Ortho, Liver, Neuro, Urology, Spinal, and General surgeries. As an ODP, you will deliver specialist care during the perioperative period across Ortho, Spinal, General, and ENT areas. Responsibilities include day-to-day theatre management, mentoring support staff, and ensuring streamlined service delivery in their spacious, well-equipped facility.

Shift Pattern: 

  • Full time, 37.5 hours per week
  • Earlies and Lates (Earlies 07:00 am -15:00 pm, Lates 13:00 pm - 21:00 pm) 5 Days a week
  • Occasional Rostered Saturdays
  • On Call: 2 weekdays every month & weekend once every 6-8 weeks

Key Requirements:

  • Qualified as an Operating Department Practitioner or Registered Nurse
  • Postgraduate experience in UK theatres
  • Anaesthetics experience and relevant qualification
  • Commitment to patient and colleague safety
  • Ability to foster effective relationships with consultants and healthcare professionals, ensuring prescribed treatments are carried out effectively
  • Team-oriented mindset, contributing to a cohesive team environment and achieving collective objectives
