Contract: Flexible – Full Time or Part Time (initial 3-month period)
Role Overview:
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Senior Occupational Therapist to join the Social Services Team in Bolton, contributing to the Independent Living Service. This role offers flexibility with Full Time or Part Time options, enabling a great work-life balance. You will work closely with a variety of health professionals, Social Workers, and Community Assessment Officers (CAOs) to support individuals with disabilities, promoting their independence through innovative and tailored solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialist occupational therapy input, focusing on promoting independence for individuals with disabilities.
- Collaborate with Social Workers, CAOs, and health professionals to develop holistic care plans.
- Conduct assessments and recommend appropriate techniques, equipment, and adaptations to meet individual needs.
- Contribute to the development of new practices to enhance well-being and independence for individuals and their carers.
- Participate in teams such as Discharge to Assess at-home, Sensory, and Telecare, within the Independent Living Service.
