Job Title: Occupational Therapist - Mental Health Team

Sanctuary Personnel is currently seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our client's therapy team at a renowned residential treatment facility in Preston. This facility, renowned for its calming environment and focus on recovery, accommodates up to 38 service users.
Duties:
The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and passionate about their role. Working primarily within the Specialist Eating Disorder Unit and across two acute wards, the Occupational Therapist will collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team and assist in developing a comprehensive therapeutic programme under the guidance of the Lead Occupational Therapist.
Requirements:
Strong communication skills are vital for this role, as the post holder will engage in both team-based activities and one-on-one sessions with patients, as well as liaising with community agencies. Independence, proactivity, and organisational skills are key attributes we seek in potential candidates.
While a minimum of 2 years' qualified experience is preferred, prior experience in mental health settings is not obligatory. Flexibility is essential, as working hours and patterns will be determined upon appointment. Occasional weekend work may be required, but it is not anticipated to be regular. Relevant qualification & HCPC registration required.
