What you will do:
- Assess patients in their own homes who have been referred for planned occupational therapy interventions, ensuring tailored and effective care.
- Conduct initial remote assessments and carefully triage visits to prioritise cases for in-person evaluations.
- Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalised care plans.
- Educate patients and their families about occupational therapy strategies, providing them with the tools to improve their quality of life.
- Advocate for patients' needs and assist them in navigating the health system, ensuring they receive comprehensive support.
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy
- Recent UK experience working as an Occupational Therapist
- Recent NHS experience
- Registered with the HCPC
