What you will do:
- Provide high-quality Occupational Therapy assessment and treatment to patients upon admission to older person’s wards.
- Support the organisation and development of pathways to ensure effective and timely discharge.
- Offer Occupational Therapy advice and professional support across disciplines and services within the team and the Trust.
- Assist therapy team leads in the maintenance and development of the therapy service and support national initiatives.
- Extend the scope of clinical practice to support colleagues, enhancing patient care and promoting swift discharge.
To succeed in this role, registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar specialism are required. While a driving license is preferable to facilitate travel between sites, your experience and skills are what truly matter.
