What You Will Do:

  • Assess and treat patients in Acute Medicine, ensuring high standards of occupational therapy care.
  • Create and implement personalized treatment plans to help patients regain independence and improve their quality of life.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive, holistic care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient records to ensure compliance with documentation standards.
  • Offer support and guidance to patients’ families and caregivers regarding ongoing care and rehabilitation.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines and standards.
  • Utilize strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and other departments.


To be successful in this role you must have a valid HCPC registration and at least 2 years of experience in a similar setting. Experience within critical care or acute respiratory medicine inpatient services is highly advantageous. Preferably you will also be able to drive a car to facilitate your own travel arrangements.
