What you will do:
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate therapy services within the acute medicine department, ensuring patient-centred care.
- Develop personalised treatment and rehabilitation programmes to help patients regain independence.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families about the treatment process and self-care strategies.
- Keep detailed patient records and adapt treatment as necessary.
- Participate in team meetings, contributing to service improvement discussions and training sessions.
- Supervise junior staff and students to nurture their professional growth.
Requirements:
- To be successful in this role, you should be HCPC registered and have at least 2 years of experience, including work in acute hospital settings.
- While a car driver is preferable, it is not mandatory.
- Your ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced environment will be key.
