What you will do:
- Patient Monitoring & Care
- Continuously monitor patients' vital signs, including heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation.
- Assess and manage patients with complex medical conditions in a critical care setting.
- Administer medications and adjust dosages, including vasoactive drugs, sedatives, and analgesics.
- Provide advanced respiratory support with ventilator management and oxygen therapy.
- Monitor and interpret ECGs, arterial blood gases, and other diagnostic tests.
Medical Procedures & Intervention
- Assist with intubation, extubation, and tracheostomy care.
- Perform advanced airway management and suctioning.
- Care for central and arterial lines alongside other invasive monitoring devices.
- Manage feeding tubes and intravenous therapy.
- Assist in emergency procedures such as CPR and defibrillation.
Collaboration & Communication
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including doctors and physiotherapists.
- Keep patients' families informed and provide emotional support.
- Engage in handovers and multidisciplinary team meetings.
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Ensure adherence to infection control policies and hospital protocols.
- Participate in audits and quality improvement initiatives.
Patient & Family Support
- Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and recovery processes.
- Offer continuous emotional and psychological support to patients and their loved ones.
