Job Title: Band 6 Rehabilitation & Complex Disability Physiotherapist

Type: Permanent
Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week, full time – part time hours considered
Salary: £35,392 - £42,618 per annum (depending on experience)
Sanctuary Personnel is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Specialist Physiotherapist (Band 6) to join our client, a leading rehabilitation service for clients with complex disabilities.
Role Overview
As a Specialist Physiotherapist, you will:
- Manage your own caseload and be responsible for a defined service area, working independently.
- Collaborate within a multi-disciplinary neuro-rehabilitation team to deliver effective and efficient services.
- Assess and develop treatment programmes for clients, continuously evaluating treatment regimes with senior therapists.
- Set clients’ short- and long-term goals.
- Assist with casting and splinting as needed.
- Integrate and monitor treatment programmes in various environments, including therapy support and care staff settings.
- Implement multi-disciplinary team strategies into treatment management.
- Participate in the assessment of wheelchair seating requirements and support home visits as needed.
- Stay updated on professional developments.
- Supervise therapy support workers and instruct care teams on handling, transfers, splints, standing, and walking.
- Contribute to clients’ reports for reviews and case conferences.
- Ensure the safety and maintenance of equipment in accordance with the Health & Safety at Work Act.
- Participate in the key therapist/worker program to facilitate client rehabilitation and ensure safe discharge.
- Maintain comprehensive client records, providing written assessments, referrals, and reports.
About You
- Passionate about physiotherapy and rehabilitation.
- Inspired by our values and behaviours.
- Hold a degree or diploma in Physiotherapy with up-to-date HCPC registration.
- Possess post-graduate experience and knowledge of therapeutic interventions in physical and neuro-rehabilitation.
- Have relevant experience in dysphagia and communication and voice management.
- Demonstrate evidence of relevant post-graduate courses, CPD, and an up-to-date professional portfolio.
