Job Title: Band 6 Occupational Therapist - Orthopaedics & Surgery

What you will do:
- Conduct assessments and create tailored treatment plans for patients in the Orthopaedics & Surgery department.
- Implement therapeutic interventions to aid in patient recovery and rehabilitation.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive discharge planning.
- Engage in regular patient reviews and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Provide support and advice to patients and their families to enhance recovery and independence.
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
- Hold a Degree or equivalent qualification in Occupational Therapy.
- Demonstrate recent UK experience working as an Occupational Therapist.
- Have recent NHS experience, with a focus on acute surgical and trauma wards.
- Be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Proficient in multidisciplinary team discharge planning.
