What you will do:
- Operate as a vital part of the large Allied Health Professionals (AHP) and physical health team in the Forensic Service in North London.
- Deliver medium and low secure inpatient services for individuals with mental illness or learning disabilities, as well as forensic intensive care and outreach services.
- Gain specialized experience in nutrition support, weight management, diabetes management, and gastroenterology within a forensic mental health inpatient setting.
- Develop and implement comprehensive care plans with a strong patient-centered approach.
- Provide expert assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and advice to patients and their carers.
- Contribute to the existing high-standard clinical services while leading and mentoring staff and fostering continuous professional development.
- Work closely with the Multi-Disciplinary Team and external agencies, ensuring the service meets local and national standards.
