The pay rate for this locum Community Podiatrist job is £32.60 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an ongoing contract.

Duties:
- Be involved daily in our Emergency Clinic at 8:30am Monday-Friday which provides “Gold standard” active wound care/be responsible for treatment planning for foot complications associated with e.g. diabetes, vascular / ischaemic long-term conditions and would be part of the foot protection team treating foot ulceration as part of community health services, as well as some wound care domiciliary responsibilities in the community
- Have the opportunity to take part in nail surgery; and ulcer management clinics
Requirements of the Community Podiatrist:
- Degree or equivalent within Podiatry/current BSc Podiatry / HCPC registration
- An experienced, enthusiastic and innovative podiatrist to work within our Specialist Podiatry Service in Tower Hamlets and Mile End Hospital, London E1 4DG
- Be flexible, working as part of a multidisciplinary community services team - offering specialist podiatric assessment and treatment via a holistic approach, to a varied and complex caseload
