Duties of the Podiatrist
- Be part of a highly motivated team, yet work as an autonomously practitioner without direct reference to a line manager or professional colleagues in both community and acute settings
- Provide a high standard of clinical care
- Assess, diagnose, develop and implement individual care programmes for patients with a wide variety of clinical needs, including acute or chronic neuropathies, chronic diseases such as diabetes and connective tissue disorders, vascular problems, wound management and biomechanical conditions
Requirements of the Podiatrist
- Qualified podiatrist i.e. Degree or equivalent within Podiatry
- Recent experience within podiatry
- Registered with the HCPC as a podiatrist to work in the UK
- NHS experience would be advantageous but not essential
- Be able to drive and have access to a suitable vehicle for work purposes
