Sanctuary Personnel is currently seeking an experienced Band 6 CAMHS Practitioner to take on a new locum opportunity based in London.
Location: London
Contract Type: Locum, 3-month contract
Pay Rate: £30 per hour (assignment rate)
Shift Pattern: Full time, 37.5 hours per week
Duties:
- Develop and provide CAMHS nursing input to young people under 18 and their families
- Working with young people and their families in need of mental health support
- Intensive working with a variety of clients in community settings, within client’s homes, foster placements, residential settings and within school settings
- Providing in-reach to inpatient settings and developing functional relationships with colleagues in a range of agencies is also pivotal to this role
- Be accountable for a defined caseload of clients, supported by the multi-disciplinary team and will receive regular clinical supervision from a senior member of the Service
- Work jointly with other members of the team offering specialist CAMHS advice, consultation and training as required
Requirements of the CAMHS Practitioner:
- Degree or equivalent in Mental Health Nursing
- Proven experience as a CAMHS Practitioner
- Valid NMC Registration
- Be able to work flexibly in the community both within Camden, its surrounding boroughs and at times outside of London
