Hours: This role is part time, working 3 days (22.5 hours) per week, with flexibility on which weekdaysbetween Monday to Thursday, between the hours of 8am to 4pm
Salary: £38,000 per annum
Sanctuary Personnel is currently seeking a talented Physiotherapist with experience in musculoskeletal (MSK) conditions to join a growing multidisciplinary team at a highly-acclaimed client site in Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria.

Key Responsibilities
- Conducting accurate clinical assessments, diagnoses, and treatments.
- Classifying musculoskeletal disorders into work-related categories.
- Providing management reports post-assessment and upon discharge, detailing employee fitness and any required role adjustments.
- Leading on-site exercise classes for employees with musculoskeletal injuries.
- Effective communication with the wider occupational health team.
- Conducting DSE assessments and providing prophylactic advice.
- Recommending changes or equipment needed following DSE assessments.
- Identifying workplace hazards and assessing associated musculoskeletal risks.
- Performing ergonomic risk assessments with Safety Health & Environment advisors.
- Sharing insights on necessary work practice or environment changes.
- Facilitating effective rehabilitation for staff with musculoskeletal disorders.
- Maintaining comprehensive assessment and treatment records.
- Collecting statistical data for report generation.
- Contributing to or leading health promotion events.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy
- HCPC registration
- Knowledge of MSK conditions and treatment
- Strong IT skills and understanding of patient confidentiality and GDPR
- Ability to conduct comprehensive and ergonomic assessments, face-to-face evaluations, and workplace assessments
- Experience in delivering workshops and health promotion
- Strong report writing skills
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
Desirable:
- Master’s Degree in Physiotherapy
