Hours: This role is part time, working 3 days (22.5 hours) per week, with flexibility on which weekdaysbetween Monday to Thursday, between the hours of 8am to 4pm
Salary: £38,000 per annum

Sanctuary Personnel is currently seeking a talented Physiotherapist with experience in musculoskeletal (MSK) conditions to join a growing multidisciplinary team at a highly-acclaimed client site in Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducting accurate clinical assessments, diagnoses, and treatments.
  • Classifying musculoskeletal disorders into work-related categories.
  • Providing management reports post-assessment and upon discharge, detailing employee fitness and any required role adjustments.
  • Leading on-site exercise classes for employees with musculoskeletal injuries.
  • Effective communication with the wider occupational health team.
  • Conducting DSE assessments and providing prophylactic advice.
  • Recommending changes or equipment needed following DSE assessments.
  • Identifying workplace hazards and assessing associated musculoskeletal risks.
  • Performing ergonomic risk assessments with Safety Health & Environment advisors.
  • Sharing insights on necessary work practice or environment changes.
  • Facilitating effective rehabilitation for staff with musculoskeletal disorders.
  • Maintaining comprehensive assessment and treatment records.
  • Collecting statistical data for report generation.
  • Contributing to or leading health promotion events.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy
  • HCPC registration
  • Knowledge of MSK conditions and treatment
  • Strong IT skills and understanding of patient confidentiality and GDPR
  • Ability to conduct comprehensive and ergonomic assessments, face-to-face evaluations, and workplace assessments
  • Experience in delivering workshops and health promotion
  • Strong report writing skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team

Desirable:

  • Master’s Degree in Physiotherapy
