Sanctuary Personnel, a dedicated and award-winning recruitment agency with a TrustPilot score of 4.9/5 and over 400+ reviews is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Mental Health Nurse to work in Wellington on a full-time basis. 37.5 hours per week (12.5 hour shifts). The service operates 24/7. You will work shift patterns including weekends, bank holidays and nights. Standard shifts are 12.5 hours a day, working 3 days one week, 4 days the next. 

The salary for this permanent Mental Health Nurse job is £33,279 - £40,560 per annum.

Duties:

  • Working with prison transfer service users, who will be with us for 12- 22 weeks as part of their assessment and stabilisation of acute mental health episode, where you’ll have a positive impact on their lives
  • Ensure service users receive high-quality care, while supporting your colleagues and promoting good teamwork

Requirements of the Mental Health Nurse:

  • An experienced Mental Health Nurse from the NHS or private sector
  • A relevant nursing qualification and registration
  • Strong team-working skills
  • A high level of self-motivation and a flexible approach
  • A positive attitude and be naturally caring and compassionate
  • A commitment to high-quality care and to values and evidence-based practice
