Sanctuary Personnel are looking for a Lawyer to work on an interim basis for an initial period of 3 months with Herefordshire Council.
This role is paying £32.16 per hour PAYE or £41.05 per hour via an Umbrella company.

The Job-
We are looking to recruit a lawyer to join our Contracts and Major Projects team. You will be joining a small team of lawyers dealing with a variety of matters, primarily contracts, grants, procurement, and company law.
- You’ll be a qualified barrister, solicitor or legal executive who is a fellow of CiLEX with an impressive knowledge of contract and company law. You will be able to demonstrate experience and knowledge of subsidy control, company law, contract law and drafting a wide range of contracts including standard build contracts such as JCT or NEC4. Knowledge of Data Protection legislation would be an advantage but not essential. You will be able to work unsupervised and carry your own caseload. You’ll have excellent communication skills, refined analytical skills and the ability to deputise for more senior team members as required.
- You will provide legal advice and assistance on a wide range of issues, varying in complexity, working closely with the Council’s departments to proactively co-ordinate, problem solve and manage a large number of instructions.
Applicant Requirement-
- Qualification to practice as a Solicitor, Barrister or FCILEx
- Previous Local Government experience and general litigation experience is desirable but not essential.
- Experience in the provision of legal advice to a local authority.
