Interim Service Manager, Specialist Adolescent Service in Kingston/Richmond UK. Earn £50 per hour on a fixed-term, full-time basis. What you will do:
- Oversee the performance improvement and management of statutory social work within the Adolescent Safeguarding Team and SHIFT Practice.
- Ensure robust oversight of the most vulnerable children, providing safety and protection while supporting timely assessments and planning.
- Assist managers with oversight of contacts, referrals, and duty tasks; lead weekly performance meetings and oversee case supervision.
- Lead team development sessions, enhancing skills and knowledge in statutory social work functions.
- Foster a culture of partnership and innovation across the organisation, prioritising child-focused, flexible, and adaptable services.
- The Adolescent Safeguarding Team works with young people aged 13 - 17 years old who are at risk of exploitation, violence or other harm outside the home.
Education/Qualifications:
- Educated to a degree level with a relevant professional social work qualification and Social Work registration.
- Proven evidence of continuing professional development
