Join our Exeter team as an Experienced Social Worker dedicated to supporting children and young people in care. You'll be working full-time, 37 hours per week, between 09:00 and 17:00, focusing on family-led outcomes and building positive relationships that promote safety and stability. What you will do:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and create action plans for children and young people.
- Maintain clear and timely documentation while respecting confidentiality.
- Collaborate with multi-agency teams to deliver cohesive care and intervention strategies.
- Engage directly with children and families to promote their wellbeing and independence.
- Prepare assessments and reports for court proceedings when necessary.
Your skills and experience will include:
- A recognised social work qualification and valid registration with Social Work England.
- Successful completion of your Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE).
- Proven experience in social care, including multi-agency and court settings.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Solid understanding of relevant legislation, models, and social work theories.
- Exceptional planning and time management abilities.
- A valid UK driving licence and access to a car.
