Dietitian - Older People within Spinal and Medicine for Older People in Aylesbury UK earning £25 hourly. What you will do:
- Provide nutrition support and expertise in enteral feeding for the National Spinal Injuries Centre and Medicine for Older People wards.
- Develop and implement enteral feeding discharge plans for patients, ensuring seamless transitions from hospital to home.
- Manage obesity cases, offering tailored advice and interventions to patients.
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team, contributing to patient care plans and participating in team meetings.
Responsibilities:
- Cover the needs of patients at the National Spinal Injuries Centre and wards for older people.
- Work Monday through Friday for 30 hours a week at 0.80wte.
- Commit to an initial 12-week placement, with the possibility of extension upon review.
Requirements:
- Hold a Band 6 Dietitian position with significant experience in nutrition support, enteral feeding, and obesity management.
- Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Maintain active HCPC registration.
- While a car is not required, it may be useful for daily operations and commuting.
