Sanctuary Personnel is currently looking for an experienced Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) to take on a new ongoing contract role within the Older Adults Memory Assessment Service.
Location: Morecambe
Pay Rate: £26 per hour (assignment rate)
Contract Type: Locum contract
Working hours: Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours per week (hours flexible between 8am and 8pm). Part time will be considered.
Main Duties:
- Ensure the effective assessment, planning, consultation and formulation towards diagnosis
- Have a specilaist knowledge and understanding of strategies and interventions in the treatment of dementia
- Be proficient in referring to other agencies within the service when necessary
- Confidently identify risk factors and action them accordingly
- Provide mentoring and clinical supervision to other staff and trainees on placement
Requirements of the Community Psychiatric Nurse:
- Degree or equivalent in Mental Health Nursing
- Experience working as a Mental Health Nurse
- NMC Registration
