What you will do:

- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ physical, psychological, mental health, and social needs to develop tailored recovery plans.
- Oversee the clinical care of a defined caseload, ensuring best practice is adhered to according to Trust policies.
- If qualified as a Non-Medical Prescriber (NMP), independently prescribe and manage treatment packages for substance misuse.
- Co-manage clinics alongside recovery workers, delivering and designing essential group interventions.
- Engage in developing and monitoring care standards, clinical audits, and outcomes to foster good clinical practices.
- Participate in inter-professional meetings and report compilation, contributing to effective multi-agency collaboration.
- Regularly review recovery plans, ensuring goals are SMART and comprehensively documented.
- Dispense medication and conduct necessary health screenings and interventions based on client needs.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with a variety of statutory and voluntary organisations.

Requirements:

- Registered Nurse with two years post-qualification experience in a clinical setting focused on substance misuse.
- Proven track record of continuous professional development and relevant substance misuse training.
- Experience in producing formal documents, supervising staff, and working within multidisciplinary teams.
- Skilled in liaising with both statutory and non-statutory services, offering comprehensive client care.
