Sanctuary Personnel is seeking a Clinical Specialist Radiographer to join our client's MRI team at a facility renowned for its “Outstanding” rating by the CQC.

The MRI department features three Siemens magnets: one 3.0T and two 1.5T. Their highly skilled radiographers work alongside leading consultant radiologists to deliver top-tier patient experiences in their world-class facilities. They perform a wide range of exams, primarily focusing on oncology and cardiology, including complex cardiac scans. Their MRI department, along with other imaging modalities, offers one of the most comprehensive imaging services in private healthcare.
Shift Pattern:
- Full time, 37.5 hours per week
- 7.5 hour shifts between 08:00 am and 20:00 pm
Role and Responsibilities:
As a Specialist Radiographer in MRI, you will:
- Assist the MRI Superintendent with the efficient running of the MRI service, maintaining high standards.
- Adhere to MRI safety protocols within the MRI suite as outlined in the Local Rules.
- Perform complex unsupervised examinations, including cardiac MRI (stress perfusions and basic scans).
- Collaborate with Radiologists and Consultants to develop policies and protocols for imaging and patient pathways.
- Identify and implement improvements as agreed with the line manager.
- Support the day-to-day operations of the imaging service.
- Assist with patient bookings and administrative duties, ensuring timely delivery of verified radiologist reports.
- Support staff orientation and training.
What You’ll Bring:
- HCPC registration
- Extensive post-graduation MRI experience, ideally within the UK
- Strong understanding of clinical governance and MRI protocols
- Minimum of 1 year of Cardiac MRI experience
