Sanctuary Personnel, a leading recruitment company to the private and public sector has a locum vacancy for a Children’s Homecare Nurse to work part time (30 hours per week) based in Belfast.

The salary for this permanent Children’s Homecare Nurse job is £29,000 – £32,000 per annum.

Job Summary:

  • Deliver gold standard, one to one, holistic care in the comfort of the patient’s home or school.
  • Offer quality nursing that is tailored to the child’s needs.
  • Ensure all professional standards are excelled and relevant care plans are delivered. 
  • Treat patients with a wide range of conditions including growth hormone and biologic treatments for conditions such as juvenile arthritis, Crohn’s disease and psoriasis.
  • Manage your own daily workload whilst maintaining stock, supplies and equipment. 
  • Maintain and demonstrate up to date knowledge, ensuring any gaps in clinical competency are addressed whilst also staying compliant with all business policies and procedures.

Requirements of the Children’s Homecare Nurse:

  • Registered Sick Children’s Nurse
  • Competent in the administration of IV therapies.
  • Strong communication skills, including actively listening, communicating sensitively and putting people at ease whilst making technical details easy to understand.
  • Full driving licence and access to personal vehicle
