Job Overview:
We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Child and Adolescent Mental Health Practitioner to join the dynamic team at the Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. This remote role is central to providing support and assessments for children and young people experiencing mental health challenges. What you will do:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of mental health needs in children and adolescents.
- Develop and implement tailored care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Provide therapeutic interventions to support emotional well-being and resilience.
- Engage with families and caregivers to educate and involve them in the treatment process.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and adjust care plans as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN), Social Worker, or equivalent qualification.
- Experience working with children and young people in a mental health setting.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices in child mental health.
