What you will do:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical and psychological needs.
- Develop and implement individualised treatment plans to facilitate recovery and rehabilitation.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Participate in discharge planning, ensuring a smooth transition for patients leaving the inpatient setting.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff and students as required.
- Engage in service development initiatives to improve patient outcomes.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Experience: Previous inpatient experience is essential with UK-based occupational therapy experience required.
- Registration: Must have current registration with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Skills: Strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to work effectively within a team.
- Education: A degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification.
