Sanctuary first point of call for NHS SW Yorkshire AHP and HSS roles
By Andrew Pirie
Sanctuary Personnel has been appointed as Master Vendor by NHS South West Yorkshire Partnership for the supply of Allied Health and Health Science Services personnel.
NHS South West Yorkshire is a specialist NHS Foundation Trust that provides community, mental health and learning disability services to the people of Barnsley, Calderdale, Kirklees and Wakefield.
As Master Vendor, Sanctuary is responsible for recruiting the following professionals into roles across the trust:
Pharmacists
Pharmacy Technicians
Phlebotomists
Podiatrists
Speech and Language Therapists
Occupational Therapists
Physiotherapists
Dietitians
The community is at the heart of the Trust, with 14,300 members (including local people and staff) having a say on how the trust is run. This makes it a special place to work for over 4,200 staff, in both clinical and non-clinical support services.
Would you like to work for the award-winning Trust?
Healthcare professionals choose to work at NHS South West Yorkshire for many different reasons (there are plenty of benefits). The main reason though is that they are fully supported by a modern health and care system. There’s also a strong focus on person centred care, which they received a Kate Granger Compassionate Care Award for in 2017.
A great opportunity for Allied Health professionals
If you love supporting people to live well within the community, there are some fantastic Allied Health roles we’re recruiting for.
It could be that you’re interested in working in Barnsley’s cardiac or stroke rehabilitation, OT rehabilitation or physiotherapy services. Or perhaps you’re a Speech and Language Therapist interested in supporting people with communication and/or eating and drinking difficulties. Or maybe you’re a podiatrist who’s happy to work within a specialist community outreach team.
Health Science Services opportunities
With a focus on making sure the trust offers the best treatments for the people who use their services, NHS South West Yorkshire is a fantastic place to work.
Given the focus on holistic care, HSS staff work closely with colleagues in Allied Health and clinical care to help people to live well.
If you’re a qualified dietitian, there’s a wide range of community health teams you could work within across Barnsley, Calderdale, Kirklees and Wakefield.
Likewise, there’s a variety of pharmacy roles available, working in both community and secondary care settings. Whether you’re looking to work at Kendray Hospital, a health centre, or a community outreach team, register with Sanctuary Personnel today. We’ll have just the role for you.
