What you will do:

  • Lead and manage a team of dedicated social workers within the Leaving Care service, ensuring high-quality support is provided to young people transitioning from care.
  • Coordinate with various agencies and stakeholders to develop comprehensive support plans tailored to the individual needs of each young person.
  • Ensure that all casework complies with current legislation, policies, and procedures.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to review case progress and drive continuous improvement.
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities for team members to enhance service delivery.
  • Act as a key contact and decision-maker during escalations and in the resolution of complex cases.
