Job Description: Team Manager - Adult Disabilities Service in Dudley
Are you ready for an exciting opportunity as a Team Manager within the Adult Disabilities Service in Dudley? We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our team for a locum position, offering a competitive salary of £40 per hour. In this full-time role, you will join us for a duration of three months, bringing your expertise to support adults with disabilities and enhance the quality of care in our service.

What you will do:
- Provide line management support to the team, focusing on wellbeing, quality of work, and performance management.
- Take responsibility for key decision-making, including agreeing outcomes for escalations and complaints.
- Undertake strategic planning to ensure delivery of an effective service, continuously improving to respond to changing environments.
- Manage complex multi-agency work, negotiating with partner agencies with robust knowledge and application of legal frameworks.
- Oversee safeguarding enquiries that involve the highest level of risk.
- Support new team managers in the service with your experience in managing disability services.
Requirements:
- An experienced Team Manager who has managed disability services in the past and is confident to support new team managers in the service.
- Social Work qualification and registered with Social Work England (SWE).
- Extensive experience managing complex cases, supervising others and acting as a senior decision maker.
- xcellent problem-solving and risk assessment skills.
- Strong communication and relationship management skills.
