What you will do:
- Provide high-quality assessment and therapy services for pre-school and school-aged children.
- Work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team to develop and deliver personalised intervention plans.
- Utilise interpreters where necessary to communicate effectively with families from diverse language backgrounds.
- Guide and support families and educators in understanding and implementing language development strategies.
- Keep accurate records and report on the progress of each child's therapy goals.
Requirements:
- HCPC registration is essential.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Experience of working with pre-school and school-aged children, and their families.
- Proven experience working within a multi-disciplinary team environment.
- Experience in delivering therapy with the use of an interpreter is advantageous.
- A valid driving licence is preferable to facilitate home or school visits within the community.
