Main Duties of the Social Worker:
- Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, assessing the service user’s needs (and that of their carer), to come up with a creative, yet practical, programme that will enhance their quality of life
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant frontline experience in Adults Services within the UK working as a Social Worker
- Experience of Adult Safeguarding and of working in a multi-disciplinary environment
- Understanding of the Care Act and of the national agenda on the integration of Health and Social Care
- Able to demonstrate a firm commitment to person-centred working and have a ‘can do’ approach to day-to-day challenges
- In the office a minimum of 2 days per week and that whilst working from home visits will required to be completed
