What you will do:
- Collaborate within the MASH setup, which combines expertise from various professional agencies, ensuring children’s safety and needs are met.
- Review referrals, making crucial decisions based on collected information, and liaise with families and professionals.
- Support the representation of Early Help at the front door, ensuring triage of Early Help referrals for appropriate support levels.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of all discussions and decisions, contributing to the effective functioning of the MASH team.
- Work office-based from Monday to Friday in the heart of Liverpool, making a tangible impact without the constraints of shift work.
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant frontline experience in Social Services within the UK working as a qualified Social Worker
