What you will do:
- Deliver statutory social work services, responding swiftly to assessments in hospital settings.
- Provide empathy and support for individuals to enhance their skill set and independence post-hospitalisation.
- Collaborate extensively with a multi-disciplinary team, meeting the needs of patients in A&E and emergency settings.
- Offer mentorship to junior practitioners, nurturing their growth and development.

Working arrangements:
A unique hybrid working model where you can enjoy a mix of home and hospital duties. You’ll support with duty, visit wards for assessments, and attend family meetings. Typically, hospital visits occur twice a week and depend on rota, although you will need to attend the hospital at least two days per week to perform face-to-face assessments.
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant frontline experience in Social Services within the UK working as a qualified Social Worker
