Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency has a new permanent position available for a Social Worker within the Fostering Support & Development Team to work Full Time for based in Enfield.
The salary for this permanent Social Worker job is up to £48,060 per annum.
Main duties:
- To hold a caseload of foster carers and offer regular supervision and support, or to recruit and assess foster carers in line with service requirements (depending on the team being recruited to).
- To meet the needs of the Council’s looked after children by ensuring that carers access the required training and development opportunities and have the skills to meet a wide range of needs.
- To deliver regular Skills to Foster courses.
- To follow all financial processes to minimise costs and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- To maintain electronic case file records in line with the Council’s recording policy and statutory requirements.
- To participate in service development projects and initiative.
- To participate in the service duty rota as required.
- Any other duties reasonably requested by management.
- Carry out all accountabilities in compliance with the Council’s Policies and Procedures.
Requirements of this Social Worker role:
- A professional Social Work qualification or equivalent.
- Understanding of relevant legislation.
- Registered or eligible for registration.
- Have a good working knowledge of the relevant legislation.
