What you will do:

- Conduct comprehensive assessments of prospective foster carers, supporting them throughout the application process.
- Provide ongoing support and supervision to approved foster carers, ensuring they meet the required standards and offer a nurturing environment for children and young people.
- Work collaboratively with social work teams, fostering panels, and external agencies to ensure the placement needs of children and young people are met efficiently.
- Maintain accurate case records and reports, adhering to legal and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in training and development activities to enhance your skills and knowledge in fostering/social work practices.

Requirements of the Social Worker:

  • Degree or equivalent in social work
  • Current Social Work England registration
  • Significant frontline experience in Social Services within the UK working as a qualified Social Worker
