Locum Supervising Social Worker - Fostering - Manchester - £35 Hourly - Full Time
This thrilling opportunity awaits you as a Locum Supervising Social Worker within the Fostering team in vibrant Manchester. With a rewarding hourly rate of £35, this full-time role will have you play a crucial role in supporting the teams efforts to provide excellent care for children. You will join the dedicated Kinship Fostering team to conduct Regulation 24 assessments, court viability assessments, Form C assessments, SGO assessments, and supervise our committed kinship foster carers.

What you will do:
- Conduct comprehensive Regulation 24 assessments to ensure compliance with legal requirements for kinship care placements.
- Carry out detailed court viability assessments to assess the potential suitability of kinship carers.
- Complete Form C assessments to establish the eligibility of kinship carers in providing safe and nurturing environments.
- Perform SGO (Special Guardianship Order) assessments for determining the long-term care arrangements for children.
- Provide ongoing support and supervision to kinship foster carers, offering guidance and ensuring they deliver high standards of care.
- Work collaboratively with other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for the children under your care.
