What you will do:
- Conduct thorough initial assessments to understand the needs of children and families.
- Manage a dynamic caseload involving children and families requiring diverse support solutions.
- Work in collaboration with multi-agency professionals to ensure the safeguarding of children.
- Undertake home visits to build rapport with families and implement fitting interventions.
- Produce detailed and high-quality assessments and reports for management and legal purposes.
- Respond swiftly to referrals, assessing risk and need to ensure timely and effective interventions.

Requirements:
Applicants must be a Qualified Social Worker, holding a Degree or Diploma in Social Work, with registration with Social Work England. Proven experience within a Duty and Assessment team or a similar frontline social work role is essential. A solid understanding of child protection, safeguarding, and social work legislation is required. Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills are vital, alongside the ability to manage a complex caseload while maintaining high-quality practice standards. A car for work purposes is necessary.
