Sanctuary Personnel has new permanent position available in Southend-on-Sea. We are currently looking for a Social Worker with an enthusiastic and professional approach to take on a new role within an Assessment & Intervention Team on a full-time basis.
The salary for this permanent Social Worker role is up to £40,890 per annum - This position comes with parking permits, £1000 joining incentive and £2000 at the end of each year worked, that’s £3000 on top of their first year’s salary.
The main purpose of the job is to provide professional and comprehensive casework to a caseload of young people appropriate to experience and capabilities. To ensure the highest of professional standards and good overall knowledge of relevant legislation regulation and practice methods.
As post holder you will be required to provide an efficient and cost effective service to young people ensuring that their needs are professionally assessed. Also you will make sure every young person will have a professional and comprehensive Pathway Plan and Risk Assessment.You will investigate, evaluate and analyse information on cases, demonstrating clarity of assessment, reliability of information, evidences conclusions and realistic pathway plans.
This role requires you to have a valid driving licence with a car available for business use as you must be able to visit locations within the Borough easily and travel outside the borough using public transport.

Requirements of Social Worker:
- Recognised Social Work qualification (DipSW, CQSW, CSS or approved equivalent, BA Hons Social Work or other relevant degree in Social Work).
- Post Qualification Diploma in Social Work.
- Current Social Work England registration.

Experience of advocating on behalf of children, families and other agencies.

Experience of offering therapeutic assessment to children.

Experience of planning, executing and reviewing social work practice.

Experience of preparing and presenting case conference reports.Experience of reviewing care packages.

Be able to demonstrate maintaining key performance indicators and ensuring timeliness of report/assessment
