Team/Specialism: Children in Need/Child Protection
Pay Rate: £45 per hour (assignment rate)
Contract: Locum, 3-Months
Shift Pattern: The post is a full-time post covering the hours of 08:30 am - 17:00 pm, Monday - Friday with the expectation to be in the office a minimum of 3 days per week

Duties:
- Manage a team of Social Workers, Family Support Worker and Social Work Apprentices
- Manage duty on a rota of one day every 4 days (it is expected that managers are in the office on their duty day)
- Allocate work to the team
- Chair strategy meetings and pre-proceedings meetings
- Provide reflective supervision to staff
- Drive practice standards within the team as part of our improvement journey
Requirements of the Team Manager:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Management experience and a background in child protection
- Current DBS
