What you will do:

  • Work with disabled children and their families, assessing their need for social care services and providing tailored support.
  • Engage with children identified as Children in Need, those subject to Child Protection plans, Care Proceedings, and those who are Children We Care For and Leaving Care.
  • Conduct assessments, plan interventions, and facilitate access to services for families to ensure the best possible outcomes.
  • Collaborate with various professionals and agencies to ensure comprehensive care for the children.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and present cases in family courts when necessary.
  • To excel in this role, you must be SWE registered, possess a valid driving licence for South Oxfordshire travel, and ideally have experience working with Disabled Children. The completion of your ASYE is a must, although more experience is preferred.
