What you will do:
- Undertake home visits to complete assessments and follow up on recommendations made by Occupational Therapy staff in the locality teams. This involves making recommendations and arranging provision for major adaptations and complex equipment.
- Prepare sketches, read plans, and provide detailed specifications for major works. Liaise with relevant partner agencies, teams, and contractors and see adaptations through to completion.
- Utilise your knowledge and experience of specialist equipment provision and major adaptations.
- Engage in manual handling of people and handle relevant equipment, applying up-to-date moving and handling skills and knowledge of relevant legislation in Social Care and Health.
Requirements include:
- Registration with the HCPC.
- At least 2 years of experience.
- Car driving skills are preferable to facilitate travel to client homes.
