What you will do :
- Manage an allocated caseload of up to 6 sets of care proceedings, including routine social work interventions and statutory work.
- Hold care planning and PEP meetings, complete reviews, and engage in direct work with young people, providing or sourcing advocacy as needed.
- Excel in time management to adhere to court timetables, run multiple assessments simultaneously, and refer families and young people to relevant services during proceedings.
- Engage multi-agency teams to ensure that the care and permanence plans meet the child's needs both now and in the future.
- Undertake assessments and develop care and education plans, ensuring that all plans are evidence-based, recorded, reviewed, and modified as necessary to ensure positive outcomes.
- Safeguard the welfare of children by making informed decisions in their best interest and working in partnership with their families and carers.
