What you will do:
- Provide comprehensive health assessments and deliver holistic care plans for young people within the Youth Justice Service.
- Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver pre and post-court services in partnership with statutory and non-statutory agencies.
- Offer therapeutic support, using your excellent skills to engage effectively with young people and address their emotional and mental health needs.
- Ensure all interventions are timely, evidence-based, and in line with best practice standards.
- Maintain thorough records and documentation, contributing to case conferences and meetings as required.
- Adapt your approach to work flexibly and responsively with young individuals, supporting their journey towards rehabilitation and positive change.
The successful candidate will be a qualified nurse with an RN qualification in mental health, children’s or general nursing. Registration with the NMC and at least three years of post-registration experience within children and young people's services, emotional health environments (such as CAMHS), and community settings is essential.
